Kidney Beans Creole
2ea - 1 lb. 6 oz. cans Kidney Beans
1 Onion (minced)
1/2 Green Pepper (diced)
1 Cup Canned Tomatoes
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Tsp. Pepper
1 Tbsp. Butter
Empty beans into baking dish with cover.
Add onion, green pepper and other seasonings to tomatoes.
Mix and pour over beans. Dot with bits of butter.
Cover and bake in moderate oven (300 degrees) for 45 minutes.
